How does shipping work?

FREE shipping on qualifying orders.

FREE pickup in Chester at Mercantile On Duke. Halifax pickup will be available once our new location opens in 2024.

We offer flat rate shipping, and prices vary based on location—choose from our dropdown menu during checkout. We can ship to the US and internationally.

We primarily use ICS Courier for all of our domestic shipping. That can change based on your postal code. It could be UPS, Purolator, or Fedex. Because we use couriers, we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Courier services do not have access to Canada Post mailboxes or mail forwarding addresses.

On the rare occaision, we will ship with Canada Post if your address is extremely remote.

If you need to have your package shipped with Canada Post, please let us know at the time of ordering.

Why can't you ship everything by letter mail?

Letter mail packages have to fit through a very thin slot at the post office, otherwise Canada Post will not accept them. Most items we sell, will not fit through that slot.

Letter mail does not offer tracking and replacement insurance.

Some items in our shop qualify for letter mail shipping: stickers, greeting cards, and keychains. When purchasing these items you will see letter mail shipping rates at checkout. However, if you add something to your cart that does not qualify for letter mail, regular shipping rates will apply.

Why is shipping so expensive?

If shipping costs seem expensive, it's because shipping is expensive—despite what Amazon says. We have set flat rates to create savings for you regardless of how many items you purchase. And it is FREE when you spend over a certain amount. But the flat rate we charge you is NOT what couriers (or Canada Post) charge us.

Actual shipping costs are determined by your postal code and the size and weight of the package.

Shipping rates can drastically vary within the same province. For instance, within Nova Scotia alone, we have been charged $14 - $28 to ship a single t-shirt. Keep in mind, we charge customers $12 for all of NS, NB and PEI. Any additional costs to us are paid out of pocket.

Shipping to Newfoundland and Labrador can easily costs $30 to $39. We charge customers $19 and pay the rest out of pocket.

We would love to offer free shipping on all orders, but it's not possible at this time.

Can you ship internationally?

Yes we can! If you are shopping abroad, you will automatically see our international shipping rates during checkout.

What is your return policy?

If you are unhappy with your online purchase, you may return it for a full refund within 60 days of the shipping date. Customer covers the return shipping costs. Items must be unworn, and tags must be attached.

Clearance and sale items are not eligible for a return, refund or store credit.

If you discover a defect in your item, send us a photo and your order number within 30 days of the shipping date, and we will replace it.

Can you print custom stuff?

Yes and no.

If you want one of our existing graphics printed on something different than what you see online, we will try our best to accommodate you.

We are not able to print your own phrase, logo, or photo on a t-shirt.

When our schedule allows we can produce large batches of custom clothing for your business or event. Please email for more information.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes, on select items when we have the capacity. Please send us and email for more information.

Where is your clothing printed?

Everything we carry is printed by hand in our own print studio located in Martins Point, Nova Scotia.

We use a traditional screen printing technique.

In February 2020, we purchased the company printing our merchandise and moved their equipment to our own studio!

Where are you based?

Our studio and warehouse are located in Martins Point, Nova Scotia. Everything is designed, printed, packaged and shipped from here :)

If you don't know where that is, it's between Mahone Bay and Chester.

Where do your garments come from?

We work with Canadian distributors to purchase all of our blank clothing. Most of our products are manufactured in North and Central America. Unfortunately, we have not found many Canadian manufacturers producing clothing at the same level of style and comfort that we want to offer.

Yes, we have explored Stanfield's Ltd in Truro. While they are local, they do not produce the same quality of items we're looking to carry.
